Bartlett resident Dale Spencer Seeks Film Career by  Cindy Lenart

One day in the future, Bartlett resident and a director of the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce Dale Spencer hopes his neighbors will see his name on the screen when they go to see a movie. Spencer is pursuing a career in film making and recently premiered his production company’s second film, “Experimental Me.”

Bartlett Slant Challenger’s win means village residents hold 4 of 7 seats in U-46

Residents of Bartlett soon will claim majority control of the Elgin Area School District U-46 school board, holding four of the seven seats. Newcomer Dale Spencer of Bartlett secured the fourth Bartlett seat Tuesday night. Spencer will join the Bartlett camp on the U-46 board with President Karen Carney and board members Ken Kazcynski and David Mathews.

Paraplegic tells students, Be Careful

“A split-second decision to take a shortcut to a college party cost Dale Spencer the use of his legs. At Bartlett High School Wednesday morning, Spencer urged driver’s education students to think first in order to prevent something similar from happening to them. “I took a lot of risks back then,” said Spencer,a local mortgage consultant and Elgin Area School District U-46 board member. “And I’m not here to preach to you now, just to ask you to use your mind to protect your body.””
