Recently, I had the opportunity to watch Ash Beckham on a recent TED Talk discussing tough conversations. She mentions the fact that each one of us has our own ‘closets’ where we reside. Further, she points out that a closet is NO place for anyone to live. We need not only be real, but be READY for ‘Real’ in return!
At times, we become inhibited to let out our true selves because we may not be prepared for a negative response. Holding back can be detrimental to what we need to accomplish in our lives. Those negative people need to deal with their own issues. Do not be mired in their doubt and concentrate on your own success.
